Vomiting sensation throughout the day

There are several causes for feeling a vomiting sensation through out the day. The feeling of nausea is brought on because of some illness or health problem and is not an illness in itself. If one is not vomiting but only has a sensation of nausea then the stomach is churning and wanting to empty out whatever is in it for several reasons. Vomiting is a violent motions of the stomach in which it turns inside our and pushes its contents out of the esophagus.

Some of the causes of nausea and vomiting are early pregnancy, gastritis, food poisoning, viral flu, peptic ulcers and other stomach irritations.

Vomiting is also brought on with a severe headache like migraine, and can lead to dehydration unless the person relaxes with pain killers and controls the vomiting.  More serious causes are increased pressure in the skull because of an injury like a severe blow to the head which has caused concussion or when the brain swells up with an infection like abnormal electrolyte in the blood, tumor or meningitis or encephalitis. Certain disease cause extreme vomiting like kidney diseases and kidney failure, inflammatory disease of the bowels, pancreatitis, and diseases of the gall bladder, hepatitis and cancer.

Fainting is also triggered off by incidents or pain which over stimulates the heart rate and dilates the blood vessels resulting in a decreased flow of blood to the brain. The sensation of fainting could also result in nausea and vomiting. If a person has been exposed to extreme heat this could cause heat stroke, exhaustion and dehydration which is another reason for a vomiting sensation.  Those who are about to suffer a heart attack have been known to have severe nausea or nausea accompanied by vomiting.

Alcohol should be avoided prior to travel; instead consuming a lot of water and getting enough sleep before travel is good.
