Slim Diet Pills for weight loss

Slim diet pills available commercially promise weight reduction. The credibility and authenticity are controversial to a great extent and the effects vary in each individual. The basic principle of action is the fat blockers and prevention of hunger or suppression of the cravings by metabolism boosters. Two of the commonly used and famous anti obesity drugs are Sibutramine and Orlistat.

Lipase is an enzyme that digests the fat in the intestine and hinders the absorption of 30 per cent of fat.

Orlistat blocks the activity of lipase enzyme. Sibutramine increases satiety by working on the serotonin levels. Serotonin is the neurotransmitter that helps in the feeling of satiety. Less food eaten results in weight reduction in an indirect manner. These drugs reveal effective weight control, though constant monitoring by the physician is done.

Personal use of such synthetic stuff calls for guidance from your physician. The weight reduction aspect of these pills is not only attributed to the active ingredient in the pill, but also on the dietary regimen and lifestyle modification. Certain pills do harm the system, especially if the individual is suffering from complications, such as renal problems, diabetes and atherosclerosis. Certain packaging fails to reveal the adverse effects on such conditions.
