Chicken Recipes There are different types of chicken recipes which can be enjoyed in a meal. Starting with the appetizer we can discuss the recipe for chicken soup. Chicken soup – Take 50 gm chicken and clean it properly removing the skin. Boil water and add few vegetables like diced carrots, onions, green pepper, celery and spring onion. Dice the chicken pieces to make small sized piece and add it in the water. Grilled Chicken wings – Marinate washed chicken wings in fresh plain yoghurt, garlic paste and chili ginger paste for 4 hours. After this add oil, fresh coriander and mint paste, salt, chili powder, coriander and cumin seeds powder and turmeric powder to it. Apply this on each wing and keep in the oven or a griller. Do not deep fry or shallow fry the chicken wings as this will make the recipe loaded with fat and thus calories, besides it may also take away certain essential nutrients. Keep a watch and remove from the griller when the chicken is done. Serve hot with sliced onions and lemon. |
