Sorry about this, but does can someone educate me on Dinner Recipes. Maybe it's a silly question, but would appreciate some help?

Quick And Easy Dinner Recipes

Today, when life is so hectic and everyone is constantly on the go, the diet is often compromised. Dinner is one meal where the entire family is mostly at home. Instant dinners are often loaded with preservatives which are detrimental to health. Fast foods are easily available, but are also unhealthy as they contain large amounts of salt and fats. It is possible to cook nutritious as well as delicious dinner recipes.


You can find easy healthy dinner recipes in various cook books and on various websites on the internet. Here are some quick and healthy dinner recipes that you can incorporate into your family’s diet.

One of the most popular low fat dinner recipes is baked spaghetti. This is also a favorite among children and hence perfect for a family meal. You will require 1 cup chopped onion, 1 cup chopped bell pepper, 1 teaspoon crushed basil, 1 tablespoon margarine, 12 ounce cooked spaghetti, 2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 pound lean ground beef, 2 cups shredded cheese, 1 cup cream of mushroom soup, 1 can chopped tomatoes, 1 black olives and ¼ cup water. In a large pan, add the onion and bell peppers and sauté till tender. Then add the olives, tomatoes, garlic powder, basil and beef. Allow it to simmer for about 10 minutes. Take a greased casserole dish and place half of the spaghetti on to it. Add half of the vegetable mixture and sprinkle some of the cheese over it. Then repeat with another layer of spaghetti and vegetables. Combine the mushroom soup and water and stir until smooth. Pour it over the spaghetti and then sprinkle with cheese and bake for about 35 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

There are also many quick and easy dinner recipes which have chicken as the main ingredient. Lean chicken is a valuable source of protein and hence a good addition to the diet. To make chicken and pasta Mediterranean style, you will require 12 ounces boneless chicken breasts, ¼ cup chicken broth, 1 jar marinated artichoke hearts, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon dried and crushed oregano, ¼ cup seedless olives, 1 jar roasted red peppers, ¼ cup dry white wine, 3 cups cooked penne pasta and ¼ cup feta cheese. In a large pan, add the chopped chicken and garlic and sauté until the chicken becomes brown. Drain the artichoke hearts and add the marinade, chicken broth, dried oregano and white wine. Once the mixture boils, turn the heat down and cover. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes and then add the peppers, olives and artichokes. Serve by adding the chicken mixture over the pasta and sprinkle with some feta cheese.

It is important to remember that the last meal of the day should be a light one and hence choose simple dinner recipes which are easy to digest and filled with nutrients.

Dinner Recipes Advice 

Dinner recipes can be a one dish meal or an elaborate one if you are a person who likes to stuff your tummy with a variety of food in the last meal of the day. Try these simple and healthy dinner recipes which can be of help.
 
Spinach stuffed sole recipe – This is a very healthy recipe which includes fresh green vegetables like spinach with all the goodness of fish. For this you will need ½ bunch fresh washed and chopped spinach, sliced fresh mushrooms, sole fillets or any other white fish, 1 tsp olive oil, ¼ tsp crushed oregano leaves, 2 minced garlic cloves, 2 tbsp sherry and mozzarella cheese for garnish.  Proceed by preheating the oven to 400 degree F and coat a baking dish with a non-stick cooking spray.
Take a pan heat olive oil and sauté the mushrooms until they are tender. Add spinach to this and cook for about a minute add garlic and oregano to it. Place the fish fillet on a board and spread this vegetable mixture evenly on each fillet. Roll each fillet tight around the mixture and place the seam side flat on the baking dish. Sprinkle sherry and grate mozzarella cheese to garnish the dish. Bake for 15-20 minutes or till the fish and cheese gets a light brown color. Serve hot with any bread of your choice.
