What are the benefits of drinking water in summer?During summer, the temperatures spike up, and this means that the air around us will get hotter. To deal with the heat and for the maintenance of the core temperature, the body starts to sweat to cool it down. Therefore, there will be a lot of sweating during summer, which will result in a large amount of fluid loss, leading to many cases of dehydration. While the loss of water through sweat cannot be avoided during summer, you can counter it by increasing your intake of water. One of the main drinking water benefits in summer is for hydrating your body. Dehydration is a state in which the body suffers a large amount of fluid loss. Drinking sufficient amounts of water will prevent the symptoms of dehydration like heart palpitations, muscle cramps, and dizziness from coming on. Another one of the benefits of drinking water in summer is in maintaining the metabolism. Insufficient intake of water leads to a slow metabolism as water carries minerals, proteins, and vital nutrients within our body. You could also take some summer drinks like fruit juices made of watermelon and oranges. Coconut water is also an excellent beverage for summer as by nature it is isotonic. |

Can we eat eggs in summer? You should be careful when consuming eggs during summer as the high temperature can have an effect on the bacterial quality of the eggs, resulting in salmonella food poisoning. To make sure that the eggs are safe to eat, there are some tips you can follow. When you buy eggs for summer, you should put them in a refrigerator as soon as you pick them up. Doing this will prevent the yolk membrane from deteriorating and the growth of microorganisms will be minimized. It is also important that the eggs are separately stored from other foods, particularly cream and milk and other foods that are cooked. It will be better for you to keep the eggs inside the refrigerator along with the egg box. Avoid storing the eggs at room temperature.Once the eggs are beaten, an ideal substance for the development and growth of germs will be provided by the egg. Therefore, it is important that you beat the eggs immediately before using it. Dishes with cooked eggs should be consumed as soon as possible, and if kept in a refrigerator, the temperature should not be more than five degrees centigrade. During hot climate, it is also important that you consume sufficient summer drinks like fruit juices to keep yourself hydrated. |

Which juice is good in summer?During summer, fruit juices are not only helpful in overcoming fatigue but they also increase the levels of energy and enable proper hydration. They are also considered to be rich in different kinds of enzymes, minerals and vitamins. Melting pears, mangoes, oranges, juicy grapes, and watermelon are very good fresh juices for summer. One of the favorite summer drinks is mango juice. Mangoes are rich in vitamin A, C and E and can be taken raw or in the form of a mango pudding. Another one of the favorite cool juices for summer is lemon juice. Lemon juice can be made salty or sweet and is very effective in dealing with dehydration. The water of a tender coconut is a natural fluid that helps in cooling the digestive system, which may not function properly due to the weather change. The water that is low in sugar and fat provides nutrients and oxygen to the cells of the body and enables rehydration. It is quite easy for the fluids that we take to keep hydrated and healthy to get eliminated in the form of sweat during summer. Therefore, it is important that you consume it regularly. There are also summer juices like cucumber juice, peach juice, carrot juice, and tomato juice you could prepare to beat the heat. |

Summer is the best time of the year to have fun outdoors and spend time with family and friends. It is great to have summer parties and barbecues, even though the thought of preparing large amounts of food may seem daunting. Here are some tips that will help you have a wonderful summer party with foods that will refresh and cool you and your guests. If you serve meat and sea food, add a dash of lemon juice to give a tangy taste. Sea food such as tuna and salmon can be steamed with fresh crushed garlic and pepper. This will give them a rich aroma and make for good appetizers. Do not overcook seafood, as it might lose essential flavors and become dry or rubbery. You can also steam shrimps and place them on a platter layered with lettuce leaves, onions or tomatoes with a cocktail sauce placed in the center. |
