Since labor requires so much energy, it will be best for laborers to eat carbohydrate rich foods while maintaining a balanced diet.Well-Balanced DietA well-balanced diet composed of various foods ensures enough intake of all the nutrients and vitamins needed by the body. It is important that the diet include all food groups on a daily basis such as breads, fruits, dairy products, cereals, meat, and vegetables.
A balanced diet will help any laborer build a stronger resistance and combat viruses and diseases they will encounter. A balanced diet gives you a great variety of foods while ensuring good health and fitness. The diet will provide you all essential nutrients that will help you do your work without worrying of all the diseases that come your way. The food pyramid will can also be used as a guide for laborers because the pyramid applies to all. As I have said earlier, an increased amount of carbohydrate intake will also increase energy to do you work. Carbohydrate rich foods are all over the place such as breads, whole grains, cereals, rice, as well as pastas. Next in the food pyramid are the vegetable and the fruit group. The vegetables are recommended in highest amounts while the fruit group is recommended to be ingested 2 to 3 times each day. This is followed by the milk and the meat group which are needed from 2 to 3 servings a day. Yogurt, milk, cheese and other dairy products belong under the milk group while fish, poultry, dry beans, nuts and egg belong to the meat group. Next group is the fats, oils, and sweets group which are to be taken sparingly. Candies, whine, and other fatty foods belong to this group. The bottom line is that laborers need a constant supply of carbohydrates because of the bunch of work they face each day. However, these carbohydrates must also be balanced with other food groups to maintain health and fitness. The food pyramid will give you a guide to a well-balanced diet and will show you the minimum and maximum amounts of serving the food must be taken in. this will again help you regarding your help and ensure a better performance in work. |
