Menstrual disorders are common problems faced by most women at some time or the other in their lives. In some women the symptoms of these menstrual disorders are quite mild and require no treatment. However, in others, the symptoms could be very severe, causing women to seek medical attention. There are medicines that can help treat menstrual problems like pain, heavy flow and cramps. However, since there are certain side effects that have been associated with this condition, most women prefer using home or natural treatment options instead.

Diet plays an important role in a woman’s overall health, including her menstrual problems. Hence, women who face menstrual problems on a regular basis may be advised to follow a menstrual disorder diet plan.

What Is A Menstrual Disorder Diet Plan?

Like the name suggests, a menstrual disorder diet plan is an eating program, which helps women overcome the pain and discomfort they may face during their periods, without any medication. This menstrual problems diet mainly includes those meals that can help relieve stomach pain, back pain, bloating, heaviness and abdominal cramps.   • Peaches 
  • Carrots or carrot juice, mixed with apple juice 
  • Ginger 
  • Raspberry tea leaf 
  • Berries like cranberries, blueberries and strawberries

There are several different menstrual disorder diet recipes that are easily available through various resources. However, it is best to consult a doctor before using any of them. In fact some of the symptoms of menstrual disorders could in fact be an indication of an underlying condition and therefore, all such signs should be checked by a doctor.
