French coffee beans are rich in flavor and aroma and therefore just a small amount of coffee is enough to begin the day. Hot chocolate is prepared in a very different manner in France. Instead of using pre-sweetened hot chocolate, the French melt chocolate in hot milk. This gives the drink a rich chocolate flavor. Most people in France do not drink milk or tea with their breakfast.
