Your skin is a major part of the integumentary system, which primarily serves to protect your body against the external environment. Also, your skin is an important component of your physical appearance. A healthy and glowing skin enhances your external appearance and beauty. Skin care includes the application of herbal products and cosmetics, but the most important skin health care means is a balanced and healthy diet. The specifics of a diet for skin health care are as follows: You must drink a lot of water so as to negate the effects of toxins and keep your skin healthy. You must drink lime juice every morning so as to cleanse your skin. You must include foods with Vitamin A as it is an essential nutrient for healthy and glowing skin.


As such, you must eat foods rich in Vitamin A like carrot, sweet potatoes, winter squash, spinach, broccoli, kale, cantaloupe, mangoes, milk, egg yolk, mozzarella cheese, dried apricots, liver, and bell pepper. Foods rich in Vitamin B also helps in providing you a flawless skin tone, thereby making your skin look healthier. Foods rich in Vitamin B1 help in enhancing the blood circulation, thereby nourishing your skin with oxygen and nutrients. Vitamin B1 rich foods include brown rice, bran flakes, peanuts, and kidney beans.


Vitamin B2 protects you from melanin pigmentation and also helps lighten the scars on your skin. As such, you must include Vitamin B2 rich foods like yogurt, pumpkin, lima beans, parsley, sage, mushroom, soya beans, almonds and cashew, in your diet. Vitamin B6 deficiency may lead to various skin ailments like eczema and dermatitis. In order to avert the attack of these diseases, you must eat Vitamin B6 rich foods like hazel nuts, turkey, cod, beef, corn, wheat bran, pork and bacon. Vitamin B5 also plays a major role in preventing skin ailments.


So, in order to have healthy and disease free skin, you must include Vitamin B5 in your diet. Foods rich in Vitamin B5 are cauliflower, sunflower seeds, strawberry, calf’s liver, and boiled eggs. You must include fibrous foods in your diet so as to have clean bowels, which in turn imparts clear and healthy skin. The foods rich in fiber are cabbage, beans, peas, date, blackberry, orange, apple, pear, avocado, guava, grapes, fig, gooseberry, plum, and kiwi fruit.
