Hay Fever

As with asthma, hay fever is caused by sensitivity to an outside influence which has to be located and, where possible, avoided. Children often grow out of hay fever and it often becomes much milder or non-existent as the years pass.

Use any of these:

Celery 8 fl oz (225ml); carrot 12 fl oz (350ml).
Carrot 6 fl oz (l75ml); beetroot 6 fl oz (175ml); cucumber 4 fl oz (100ml).
Carrot 8 fl oz (225ml); celery 3 fl oz (75ml); spinach 3 fl oz (75ml);
parsley 2 fl oz (50ml).


Horseradish (grated) 30z (75g); juice of 2 lemons; water 12 fl oz (350ml).
Carrot 10 fl oz (275ml); spinach 6 fl oz (175ml).
Carrot 7 fl oz (200ml); beetroot 5 fl oz (150ml); lettuce 4 fl oz (100ml).

Headaches

A warning of strain on the body due to stress or toxins. Prevention is better than cure. Persistent headaches can be a sign of disease and should always be referred to a physician. The remedy lies in treating the underlying cause. An eliminative diet, rich in raw fruits and vegetables and whole grains is very useful.

Try the following juice combinations:

Cabbage 12 n oz (350ml); celery 4 n oz (100ml).
Artichoke or elixir (see page 64) 2 n oz. (50ml) every 4 hours.
Apple 8 n oz (225ml); tomato 8 fl oz (225ml); parsley 2 fl oz (50ml).
Beetroot 10 fl oz (275ml); cabbage 10 fl oz (275ml).
Beetroot 16 n oz (450ml).

Carrot 10 fl oz (275ml); beetroot 4 fl oz (l00ml); cucumber 6 fl oz (l75ml).
